Jacquie began her career in physical therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2005. She went on to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2010. Jacquie has practiced in a variety of settings, allowing her to broaden her skills amongst different patient populations. Beginning her career in Acute Rehabilitation, Jacquie specifically treated patients following traumatic spinal cord injury, stroke, and amputation. She then spent seven years as Senior Physical Therapist at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in NYC, where she obtained her certification as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist.

The culmination of these experiences led Jacquie to Symbio Physiotherapy in September of 2016, where she utilizes her cycling and running experience, as well as her manual therapy skills to rehabilitate everyone from athletic instructors to weekend warriors. Jacquie’s passion is to heal, with a philosophy that everyone is an individual and needs to be treated as such to meet their specific goals.
